Megan and the caring individuals at the Dyslexia Alliance have opened our eyes to the needs of children who might struggle with challenges that affect their ability to gain and retain knowledge. The teachers at our site now discuss practical ways to support our students.

I recently was correcting a student’s test. This student, diagnosed with dyslexia, skipped two questions. With the knowledge given from the presentation, I went back to her to complete the two missing answers. I found that she did not realize that the problems had been skipped. Through this experience I felt good in helping her to succeed, based on the knowledge I had gained.
